SET Specification Version 1.0.1

Book 2 of the SET specification was undergoing a significant rewrite. The files that appear below are drafts produced as part of that rewrite and are not formal definitions of the SET specification (although they do provide significant clarifications for ambiguous text in version 1.0 of the specification). The rewrite was put on indefinite hold in February, 2000 when the authors were assigned to another project.

The following drafts of Book 2 were released to reviewers:

Part I: System Design Considerations	Released to reviewers on December 10, 1998, this document contains a completely rewritten version of Part I with revision marks showing the changes since version 1.0. At least one more draft was anticipated before the completion of the rewrite project.
Part II: Certificate Management	Released to reviewers on December 16, 1998, this document contains a completely rewritten version of Part II with revision marks showing the changes since version 1.0. At least one more draft was anticipated before the completion of the rewrite project.
Part III: Payment System	Released to reviewers on January 2, 2000, this document contains portions of Part III that have been rewritten with revision marks showing the changes since version 1.0. Additional drafts were anticipated that would have included all of Part III.
